Target Audience	This is a special purpose standardisation steering committee workshop with the aim to certify persons that are willing or planning to join ICS ad-hoc standardisation working groups.
Aims and Objectives	The Standards are one of the key initiatives of the ICS. The ICS Standardisation Steering Committee has modernised the approach for developing ICS standards, using the principles of evidence based medicine.1,2 A summary of the procedure is published.3 The process is designed to develop relevant practical and up-to date standards in a concise manner.
