Aims and Objectives

Laparoscopic approach to pelvic floor surgery has seen interesting new developments in the recent years, specially with the mesh-stop policy in some countries. This has encouraged clinicians to use modified techniques on classical operations or use new different materials used to correct pelvic floor problems.
We want to provide an update on the current trends on laparoscopic surgical techniques and offer an opportunity to the delegates to gain an insight on what options are available.
Attendants will learn on pelvic floor anatomy for laparoscopy, what to do in case of pelvic organ prolapse recurrence, how to correct prolapse without mesh or how to correct incontinence laparoscopically through the Burch colposuspension.
Learning Objectives - Training laparoscopic suturing
- Understanding anatomy for laparoscopic pelvic floor surgery
- Learning about laparoscopic techniques for prolapse and incontinence
