The aim of this round table is to discuss latest scientific background and practice of pelvic floor muscle training for genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Understanding menopause changes, the various symptoms and perceptions will improve conservative menopausal management for women.

Objectives:

  1. Getting to know better the physiological aging processes of the myofascial tissue of the pelvic floor
  2. Understanding how pelvic floor muscle training works to reduce genitourinary syndrome
  3. Discussing which effects we can expect from training
  4. Learning which exercises reduce symptoms of menopause
