Abstract

Introduction
Clitoromegaly is described as a clitoreal shaft over 3.5 cm.
It may cause disconfort, shame and has a negative impact in sexuality.
Design
we present a case of clitoromegaly due to the use og anabolysing hormones.
The clitoreal shaft measured 5 cm an caused disconfort an shame.
We performed a dordal approach, using a supra clitoreal arciform incision.
A stay suture is placed at the glans clitoris to faciliatar dissection (Fig 1)
After dissecting the hood, we isolated the dorsal neurovascular bundle as in all nerve sparing procedure (fig 2).
The modified Nesbit plication was made bilaterally, resulting in a 2 cm long shaft.
The exceeding hood was trimmed off ane the skin reconstruction was made wit 4-0 absorbable sutures.
Results
The cosmetic and functional was excellent and the patien very satsfied.
Conclusion
Reduction clitoroplasty by dorsal approach is a very good alternative in the management of selected cases of clitoromegaly.
