Henry Woo is a urological surgeon sub-specialising in Prostate Surgery. He is the Director of Uro-Oncology and Professor of Robotic Cancer Surgery at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. He is an honorary Professor at the University of Sydney. He is also the Head of the Department of Urology at the Sydney Adventist Hospital.
Henry completed undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney in 1985, became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1993 and underwent post-Fellowship training at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield under the supervision of the internationally Professor Christopher Chapple. He is a Board Director of the Australian and New Zealand Uro-genital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group (ANZUP) as well as the Australasian Urological Foundation (AUF). He is a fellowship elected Councillor to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). He has been a pioneer in the development of minimally invasive therapies for benign prostate disease and has extensive experience in the management of prostate cancer. He has been a prolific contributor at both national and international meetings and has published extensively in major urological journals.
