Georgia Walker is a UK-trained physiotherapist currently based at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where she leads the Pelvic Health service within the Outpatient Rehabilitation team.
Georgia began her career working across both NHS and private clinics in the UK, where she developed a strong foundation in Western healthcare practice and multidisciplinary working, which continues to inform her clinical approach today.
Since relocating to the UAE in 2018, Georgia has been actively involved in shaping and delivering pelvic health services that align with international best practices, whilst adapting to local cultural and healthcare needs. Her work provides evidence-based assessment and management, with a particular focus on self-management education and exercise-led rehabilitation.
Georgia’s role has included the development of clinical pathways, interdisciplinary collaboration, service development, marketing and education. She has played a key role in expanding the pelvic health service, contributing to the integration of Western physiotherapy models within the UAE via service development.
She obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in 2014 and is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health through Brunel University. Georgia is also a certified APPI Pilates instructor, with an additional ongoing certification in women’s health clinical Pilates and is trained in dry needling.
Committed to advancing pelvic health practice, Georgia has presented research and participated in specialist topic discussion at both national and international conferences, including the World Congress of Physiotherapy, and continues to advocate for progressive, guideline-driven care in the region.
