We would like to issue a tribute to the passing of Derek Griffiths, a highly respected member of the International Continence Society (ICS). Derek was a founding member, attending the first ICS meeting in 1971, and made significant contributions to urodynamics. He collaborated with leading experts worldwide, bridging science and urology. His work on bladder function, fMRI, and his book Urodynamics: The Mechanics and Hydrodynamics of the Lower Urinary Tract (1980) left a lasting impact. Derek received the ICS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 and is fondly remembered for his humility and dedication. You can read Derek’s full tribute here: https://lnkd.in/ejwU88mT
