Honorary membership is awarded to ICS members who have made a significant lifetime contribution to the society. All ICS General Secretaries are awarded Honorary Membership at the last ICS meeting of their office. Members of the society who have been awarded with a Lifetime Achievement award for their outstanding contribution to the ICS, also become honorary members, as part of their award.
