The ICS Education Committee has the task of establishing links to relevant professional societies in countries served by the ICS in order to deliver high quality, multidisciplinary educational activities as guest lectures or add-on courses to national or international meetings.
These courses and lecture run outside of the main Annual Scientific Meeting. The overarching strategy for the ICS educational courses is to provide accessible, low cost education for younger professionals; to encourage and promote multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary education; to reach developing world audiences and to promote the activities and mission of ICS.
