Neighbourhoods
The mix of cultures and ethnicities is reflected in the city’s character and can be experienced by wandering its distinctive districts. Where diversity flourishes, so do the culinary offerings. While in Toronto you will find an abundance of must-try foods inspired by the many cultures the city celebrates. Asian night markets pop up each summer and there’s plenty of options to enjoy all year round, from street food to fine dining restaurants. A favourite dish among locals is Indian Butter Chicken, or try gyros at its finest in Greektown, followed by the city’s best Portuguese custard tarts in Little Portugal. Everyone is catered for!
