The ICS Board of Trustees announces with deep grief that one of our most esteemed members, Linda Cardozo, passed away. Linda was a world-renowned urogynecologist and member of the ICS since she started her professional career. Linda was an icon within the community of professionals of functional lower urinary tract disorders and urogynecology. She was a member of the Board of Trustees for many years and was rewarded with the ICS Life Time Achievement Award and Honorary Membership in 2017. She was dynamic, scientific and outspoken and she set the professional standard for many of us. Together with her self-created team of co-workers in King’s College Hospital, expanded the approach of King’s throughout the world. With Linda's passing, ICS has lost a unique person and we feel that deeply. We offer our condolences to her husband, Stuart, and children, and wish them strength in these difficult times.
