ENRICO FINAZZI AGRO’ MD
Enrico Finazzi Agrò has been specialist in Urology since 1998. He has been Associate Professor at the University of Roma "Tor Vergata" since 2005, Full Professor since March 2022 and Chair of the Urology Department of the Policlinico Tor Vergata University Hospital since 2018 after he was responsible of the functional urology unit from 2008 to 2018. He was Director of the Urology training program of the University of Roma "Tor Vergata" (November 2016-October 2022).
His fields of scientific interest are neuro-urology, urodynamics, diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence and cervico-urethral obstruction, prostate cancer and andrology. He is author of 163 papers listed on PubMed (February 2024) and 184 products on Scopus, H-index 34 (February 2024). He has been reviewer for Eur Urol, Neurourol Urodyn, J Urol, Int Urogynecol J and several other indexed Journals since several years. He is Associate Editor of Neurourol Urodyn and member of the Editorial Board of International Urogynecology Journal and Continence. He was Associate Editor of BMC Urology until 2018. He has participated to national and international meetings, presenting original papers.
He has been member of Italian Urology Society (SIU) and of Italian Urodynamics Society (SIUD) since 1993; he is member of the European Association of Urology (EAU) and International Continence Society (ICS). He was president of the Italian Urodynamics Society (2015-2018) and Past-President of the same Society (June 2018-September 2021). Furthermore, he was member of several Committees and Chair of the Urodynamics Committee of the International Continence Society. He has been a Trustee of the International Continence Society since November 2020. He has been member of the Urodynamics working group of the International Consultation on Incontinence 2016 and Co-Chair of the Pathophysiology working group of the International Consultation on Incontinence 2021. He has been board member (since 2022) of the EAU Section of Functional Urology (ESFU), elected chairman in February 2024.
