I am a medical docter since 2014. From 2015 onwards I combine the traineeships for General Practitioner, a Phd and the title of epidemiologist B. The traineeships are located at the researchgroup for pelvic- and abdominal problems at the department of General Practice and Elderly Care medicine. This is affiliated at the University Medical Center Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands.
The PhD-project is "The URinControl-study" (www.urincontrol.nl), with research into an app-based treatment for urinary incontinence in women. The project uses quantitative and quantitative methods to assess experiences and expectations, (cost-)effectiveness, facilitators and barriers and predictors.
I live with my partner and two sons (0 and 2yo) and in my free time I like to go running, cycling or swimming.
