Lori is a private practice physiotherapist running her own business in the field of pelvic health. She has degrees in exercise science and physiotherapy and has worked in musculoskeletal private practice clinics for over 20 years. Her clinical interests are in treating complex persistent pelvic patients and pelvic floor dysfunctions in exercise and sport. She is currently a PhD student in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia where she is using 3D/4D transperineal ultrasound to investigate the effects of heavy weight lifting on female pelvic organ support with her supervisory team; Dr. Michelle Smith, Dr. Emma Beckman and Prof. Paul Hodges. She is a casual lecture for UQ, an invited conference speaker, teaches internationally, and hosts The Pelvic Health Podcast, which interviews academics and experts from all over the globe on issues related to pelvic health.
