Dr. Zainab Noor, BSc, MSc, PhD, DClinPsy, is a clinical psychologist specializing in physical health conditions. She leads two NHS psychology services dedicated to optimizing surgical interventions. As a passionate advocate for psychologically informed healthcare, Dr. Noor serves on both national and regional committees that shape guidance on psychological care in surgery.
Dr. Noor is a respected expert, teaching at universities and organizations both nationally and internationally. Her work bridges the mental and physical health domains, translating research findings into practical tools that help patients thrive under challenging circumstances. With research interests in cancer survivorship, the impact of anxiety on physical health, surgical outcomes, and innovative approaches in perioperative medicine, Dr. Noor is committed to advancing holistic healthcare solutions.
