Kathryn L. Burgio, PhD, is a behavioral psychologist with over 36 years of experience in the field of incontinence. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Notre Dame and a fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at the National Institute on Aging, NIH. She is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Founding Director of the UAB Continence Program.
